Professional Bios:

Frank Jacques

Frank Jacques Principal Broker and founder of CRES-RI, Inc possesses more than 42 years of progressively responsible professional experience.  He started his professional career in 1966 with RI Carbide Tool Company as a Toolmaker apprentice with programs sponsored by Brown & Sharpe. 

In 1971, after returning with the US Army as a Vietnam Era Veteran; Frank went on to become General Manager of Machine “X” Co. Inc.; an optical hardware manufacturer, his responsibilities included sales, tooling, manufacturing, scheduling, process documentation, and physical plant management. 

With a strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry in 1977, Frank advanced to become the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor at Medi Tech, a major medical device company that became Boston Scientific.  He was responsible for the process documentation and machine designs and tooling to convert R & D medical intrusion devices to full production such as the dilatation catheter used today for angioplasties worldwide.

In 1981 he went on to INCON as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager responsible for the development of the computer connectors for the B-1 Bomber, Trident Submarine, and Sparrow Missile.

Another highlight in Frank’s career includes being the Owner and Operator of a technical career placement service in Florida.  This company functioned as a liaison between employers and skilled engineering employees.  One of their major clients included Disney companies, Martin Marietta, and Harris Corp.

Upon moving back to Rhode Island in 1985 he worked as Physical Plant Manager of 500,000 square feet Ivy League educational facility that covered city block responsibilities included a100 acre farm with 8 athletic fields, 4 faculty houses, and 3 barns.

1987 Frank launched his commercial real estate career.  With more than 20 years of experience in the field of development and sales of businesses and business-related properties. This company is one of a handful licensed in three states with expertise in selecting and finding the highest and best use for each individual site by uncovering its hidden assets.

Richard Stang

Richard has over 21 years of professional experience in commercial real estate development, project development, project finance, technology commercialization, national and international strategic sales and business development, channel partner creation, and risk assessment for companies ranging in size from start-ups to international organizations.

Richard is also one of the owners and managing director of NewDay Power and Energy Technologies, LLC, which are in the business of manufacturing, marketing, and selling of energy efficiency and renewable energy products. 

Prior to joining Commercial Real Estate Services, Richard established and ran a successful business consulting company entitled “Business Innovation Group, LLC” specializing in business development, sales, and sales channel development. 

Richard has also held senior executive positions with a start-up software technology company where he was primarily responsible for negotiating and documenting all strategic licensing and sales programs, operational management and compliance, and acting as lead negotiator for two private equity financings.  Richard was also a member of the executive committee to the state of Rhode Island’s Economic Development Corporation where he was personally responsible for formulating and implementing business development initiatives in the insurance, financial services, and technology industries, overseeing project management of several high profile development projects, and acting as the corporation’s legislative and governmental liaison.  

Richard began his professional career as a business law attorney in New York City.  While shaping his career from that of business law to a business development professional, Richard has leveraged his training in finding strategic solutions to new and complex business situations. Drawing on his experience, Richard has developed a sharp, analytical skillset and disciplined process to hone proprietary technology commercialization models, assess and visualize unique business opportunities and relationships, and formulate, and execute upon, strategic revenue-generating arrangements and partnerships to capitalize on these opportunities.

Richard is a graduate of Rhode Island College and Boston University School of Law. He resides in Westport, MA with his wife and three children.
